Hi, we're Nut Free Baker!
Two brothers, one allergy, a bakery you can trust
Our names are Avik and Ansh Sattiraju, and we founded Nut Free Baker in 2022 as students at Westwood High School, where we also played varsity soccer. Allergies are something we have no control over, and our purpose is to make them something you don't have to worry about. Living a life avoiding something so common can be tough, and having nut allergies ourselves makes it something we understand. But what about not having to worry about your allergies because someone else has your back?
Today Avik studies at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business in Bloomington, and Ansh studies at Boston College's Carroll School of Management. They still co-own Nut Free Baker and actively manage it together: Avik leads marketing, communication and strategy, and Ansh leads recipes, the brand and getting orders made and delivered.

Our purpose since the beginning has been to provide a safe option for customers with nut allergies, without sacrificing on taste. We want you to buy our food and enjoy it without worrying about the dangerous threat of an allergic reaction. Since our start in 2022 we have been doing exactly that, giving families a safe bakery to trust. We pride ourselves on fast service, good customer service and delicious food, and whether you live with an allergy or not, we hope you love all the baked goods we offer. No worry, just the same great taste.

Where to see us
Comellas, town days and your celebrations
As we expand, we are popping up all over the place! We are in the popular Westwood restaurant Comellas, where we sell our brookies and ice cream, and Comellas customers love to grab a quick dessert. We are also at Westwood Day and Norwood Day each September, each one a success with raffles, free treats, and information about us. We cater weddings, graduation parties, and the Westwood Council on Aging. We hope to keep expanding and become Westwood's bakery!
