Our names are Avik and Ansh Sattiraju, we are 16 and we are the Founders of Nut Free Baker. We are juniors at the Westwood High School and alongs side our love for baking and this business we play soccer for the varsity team at the high school. Allergies are something we have no control over and our purpose is to make it something you don’t have to worry about. Living a life without eating and avoiding something common can be tough, and having nut allergies ourselves makes it something we can understand. But what about not having to worry about your allergies because someone else has your back?
Our purpose since the beginning has been to provide a safe option for customers with nut allergies, without sacrificing on taste. We want you to buy our food, and enjoy it without worrying about the dangerous threat of an allergic reaction. Since our start in 2022 we have been accomplishing this, giving families a safe bakery to trust. Priding ourself in our fast service, good customer service, and delicious food, we hope that whether you struggle with an allergy, or not; you love all the delicious baked goods we offer. No worry, just the same great taste.
As we expand, we are popping up all over the place! Right now, we are in the popular restaurant Comellas, in Westwood. We sell our brookies and ice cream here, and all Comellas customers love to grab a quick dessert! We are also at Westwood Day and Norwood Day each September, each one has been a success with raffles, free treats, and info about us. We have started catering to weddings, graduation parties, and the Westwood Council of Aging. We hope to continue expanding, to become Westwood's bakery!
